ETM offers several Klystron Power Amplifiers designed for use in Troposcatter (Over the Horizon Communication) Applications. These KPAs are used to amplify Digital QPSK signals with bandwidths of up to 10 MHz. Solutions are available in S-Band and C-Band with 2 kW of RF power available at the output flange.
ETM offers configurations designed for both mobile and fixed applications. Our standard mobile configuration is a rack mountable split system consisting of a High Voltage Power Supply chassis and an RF/Control chassis. These systems are compact in size. They are designed and built to withstand the rigorous environmental conditions of military/tactical mobile applications and have been tested to MIL-STD-810.
