Tom Hayse
Chairman, Chief Executive Officer & President

Tom Hayse has been with ETM in a full time role since 1985, and as CEO & President since 1996. His past roles at ETM included: Project Engineer, where he designed high voltage test equipment for traveling wave tubes; Engineering Manager, where he led ETM engineering teams in the design, construction and delivery of high power pulsed and CW microwave tube transmitters; and Vice-President of Marketing, where he led a team to develop and bring to market ETM's TWTA product line for instrumentation and communications. During his tenure as CEO, ETM has grown from less than $7 million, to more than $35 million in annual revenues.

Tom holds a Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering from Stanford University. He is a member and officer of the Northern California Chapter of the Young President's Organization. Tom is the son of ETM's late founder, Charles E. Hayse.

Ryan Pollace
Vice President, Clients and Markets

Ryan Pollace is ETM's Vice-President for Clients and Markets. He is responsible for the sales, marketing, product management, customer service and program management functions at ETM. Ryan joined ETM in 2001 as Product Marketing Manager, responsible for ETM's Instrumentation product line. He then served as Director of Products responsible for marketing and management of ETM's instrumentation, satellite communications, and electronic warfare product lines.

Ryan holds a Master of Business Administration with a concentration in Marketing and a Bachelor of Architecture from Cal Poly, San Luis Obispo.

John Capovilla
Vice-Chairman & Executive Advisor
Interim VP, Finance and Operations

John Capovilla serves as the Vice-Chairman of ETM's Board of Directors as well as an active advisor to the CEO and the VP Finance and Operations. From 1992 through 2007, John served as ETM's VP for Finance and Administration responsible for contract administration, human resources, finance, accounting and information technology. He has been with ETMsince 1984 in various positions including Manufacturing Manager, Operations Manager, and President. Prior to joining ETM, John worked at GTE Lenkurt for 13 years as a department manager, responsible for production of crystal filters.

John holds a BS in Business Administration from California State University, Hayward and an AA in Electronic Technology.
