Switch Mode Power Supplies
Most of ETM's standard high power amplifiers utilize a modular, high frequency switching power supply. Developed in 1992, this power supply was designed to divide the significant HV and LV functions into modular units. Each module plugs into a motherboard on the power supply heatsink to allow for seamless communication between all modules. ETM has used this modular design for our standard 2kW, 3.5kW and 8kW switch mode power supplies.

- High voltage modules are potted for HV isolation and improved
heat transfer
- Rugged design ideal for mobile applications
- Troubleshooting in the field is fast and easy
- Each module can be removed and replaced within minutes
- Many modules are common across different ETM amplifiers
