High Frequency Solid-State Switches
ETM has developed solid-state switch technology for high voltage applications. Switch cards with Field Effect Transistors (FET's) have been successfully used for years in ETM's solid-state grid modulators to support high frequency switching of microwave tubes at pulse voltages of up to 3 kV.

ETM has also developed a high voltage switch card capable of switching 10kV. Three of these cards are stacked in series to achieve 30kV switching in the ETM Universal Magnetron Modulator.
