Power Conversion:
Tailored power conversion is at the core of every ETM product. This particular example generates 50 kilovolt high voltage output at 40kW, from a 60 Hz, 480VAC service.A common architecture in a high power, high voltage system may include rectification of high power AC input power for power factor optimization, then DC to AC inversion, then transformation to high voltage, and then rectification to high voltage DC, all at the highest efficiencies possible when in high average power applications.
